CUSTOMIZED CONDOMINIUM LIVING

When you purchase a condominium, the first thing you should do is to hire Robinson Morrow Associates to be assured the room arrangement will fit your personal needs.  These needs should be addressed before any decoration is discussed.

In addition to our skill in interior design and decoration, the team at Robinson Morrow Associates prides itself on its ability to manipulate existing floorplans into a room arrangement which fits the needs of the clients.  These architectural changes include great attention to woodwork, tilework, flooring and other related details.  We also assist clients with additions to houses as well as the design of completely new freestanding structures such as the poolhouse featured on this website.

Some good examples of our skill at architectural remodeling are the three floorplans shown.  Each floorplan originated with the exact same condominium layout.  In fact, these three residences are located in the same condominium high-rise in suburban Washington, DC.

Plan A was reconfigured for a single woman with grown children living in the same area.  She requested a home with large airy rooms with extensive and attractive clothing storage including a beautifully detailed dressing room.

Plan B was reconfigured for an empty nester couple who desired a large den, an abundance of clothing storage as well as a large home office.

Plan C was reconfigured for another empty nester couple.  They requested plentiful clothing storage, a second bedroom for frequent overnight guests, a home office and a breakfast area separated from the kitchen.  All of this, we managed to fit comfortably and attractively into the same existing condominium floorplan.
